With nearly 20 years in the health and wellness industry. After owning and running various healthcare practices and studios, Amanda wanted to create a nurturing woman centered space. 

Hence Nest  was born- a beautiful boutique wellbeing studio in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs incorporating chiropractic, yoga and meditation.

This space supports women's physical and emotional health and well-being as they move through their busy lives caring for loved ones, growing their careers and managing households and businesses.

Small classes and private sessions in a beautiful environment ensure a personalised and safe experience. Led by Amanda, with specialist training in women’s yoga, you will feel confident as you develop your practice and learn the art of self care . As a nest for women to  improve their health and prepare for motherhood, non-toxic and ecological choices were of paramount importance: non toxic mats, organic covered bolsters and blankets, organic teas and low PVC paint on the walls.  Here you will find classes to nourish your soul from well-woman yoga, for restoration and self care, to fertility yoga, pregnancy yoga and mums and bubs classes.   

 

Amanda Chow
Owner, Yoga Teacher, Chiropractor

Amanda is truly passionate about sharing this wonderful journey with her clients. Through her three gorgeous children, who have taught her patience and unconditional love, she has learned first hand the benefits of yoga during pregnancy and then to balance a busy lifestyle from babies to teenagers.

As a specialist prenatal yoga teacher of 10 years, Amanda has trained with and is inspired by many wonderful teachers : Ana Davis from Bliss Baby, Françoise Freedman from Birthlight and her beautiful friend Kathryn Budig. She has her diploma from IYTA and is registered with Yoga Alliance as a RPYT. Amanda recently completed her 50 hour certificate in Yin Yoga with Cora Geroux of Slow Yoga.

Amanda is also a qualified chiropractor registered with APHRA. She has a special interest in women's health.

Sallie Davison

Sallie has been teaching for over ten years and continues to enjoy sharing her passion for yoga with others. She strongly believes that over time our practice of yoga can support us to find peace of mind, speak our truth and live with a more open and loving heart.

Her study and practice of yoga embraces the intrinsic intelligence of the human body, meaning that each person’s practice of yoga should suit their individual needs at any particular point in time. Yoga is not about fixed routines or competition, but about connecting with your body, breath and consciousness through mindful movement.

Sallie has two young boys and has experienced first-hand the nurturing and affirming role that yoga practice can play across the cycle of conception, pregnancy and throughout motherhood. Much of her ongoing professional development has focussed on supporting women at various stages of their life, using the practice to support women’s feminine energy to feel empowered and radiant.

She takes great pleasure in assisting others to bring the tremendous value of regular yoga practice into their life. The practice of yoga can help us to stay grounded and present to the stillness that resides within us, helping us to navigate the ups and downs of life and be the best version of ourselves.

Elisa Franklin

Yoga Teacher, Holistic Nutritionist

Elisa first discovered yoga at age 20 and has never looked back since. It didn’t take long before Elisa fell in love with yoga, where she soon found herself immersed in her first yoga teacher training in Adelaide.

As a lover of learning new things, Elisa has completed a variety of yoga training qualifications, from prenatal yoga, vinyasa, yin yoga, and most recently, fertility yoga and women’s yoga.

Elisa guides her students through a practice of feel-good movement, whilst cultivating a sense of calm and ease. Her intention for each class is to inspire students to connect with their body and breath and to fully immerse themselves in their own experience.

Elisa is also a holistic nutritionist and owner of Wholesome Wellness, where she specialises in all things women’s health, such as hormone health, fertility, preconception care, pregnancy, and more!

 

Bec Milton

Bec feels privileged to guide women through their practice of yoga to reveal their inner strength and innate capacities. She honours the individuality of each person and through her own long, rich exploration of yoga has come to appreciate the physical and psychological freedom yoga practice offers.

Bec has practiced yoga for more than ten years and has seen her practice evolve and transform according to life’s seasons. With two young sons, she understands how yoga can be a source of space and provide connection to the unchangeable self despite life’s various stages.  

Bec is a qualified and practicing Occupational Therapist. She has completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training through Power Living and Pre and postnatal yoga teacher training with Ana Davis from Bliss Baby.
