Prenatal Yoga

 

A supportive class for pregnancy, to increase body awareness and strength, reduce stress and tension. We focus on poses to open your  body in preparation for birth and teach yogic breathing to assist in your labour and connection with baby. It also provides an opportunity to relieve common pregnancy ailments and to enjoy the journey of pregnancy with other new mums to be in our beautiful tribe at Nest. We encourage you to advise your health care provider that you will be starting prenatal yoga. Small classes ensure a personalised experience and excellent safety. This class is guided by a qualified prenatal yoga teacher who is registered with Yoga Alliance.

Non pregnant women preparing for pregnancy are welcome to attend. :)

Yoga For Motherhood

 

A beautiful series to help new mothers ease back into a gentle yoga practice. In a relaxing environment mums can stretch and strengthen their bodies to encourage postnatal recovery. The class is perfect from 6 weeks to 6 months. Babies are welcome to sleep, feed, join in or admire mummy. Due to the popularity of these classes it is advisable to book in advance to reserve your spot in a series that suits you.

MEDITATION SESSIONS

Drawing on Buddhist wisdom and techniques India’s sessions combine

‘Calm Abiding”, “Mindfulness” and “Analytical “Meditations. Each session

begins with a cup of tea and introduction. A discussion follows after the

Meditation, along with a short oracle card reading. The sessions are casual,

there is no need to book but please contact India prior to your first visit.

BEGINNERS LEARN TO MEDITATE COURSE

Monthly

1 hour per week

$120 (includes notes, folder, audio’s for home practice and gift)

The course focuses on obtaining the correct posture, practicing various types

of Meditation and assists in setting up a daily practice. We cover posture, 9

round breathing exercise, motivations and dedications, candle exercise,

body scanning, mindfulness, visualisation and walking Meditation.

The course encourages students and gives them the skills to start their own

daily Meditation practice, for this is where the life benefit really begins.
